Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Every day, they give their time, skills and energy to support individuals, charities, community groups and local initiatives. Their dedication helps improve lives, strengthens community spirit and creates opportunities for others.

The INSPIRE Awards provide an opportunity to recognise and thank those who selflessly give their time to help others. They shine a spotlight on the incredible contributions made by volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, while inspiring others to get involved and make a difference.

Each year, we invite the surrounding community and local businesses to submit their nominations for people whose volunteering efforts deserve recognition.

Whether it's an individual who has volunteered for decades, a young person making a positive impact, a dedicated fundraiser, an exceptional volunteer or a team creating lasting change together, we want to hear their story.

Long Service Award

The Long Service Award recognises individuals who have shown exceptional dedication through many years of volunteering within the Pershore area. It celebrates those whose commitment, loyalty and support have made a lasting impact on their organisation and the wider community.

Young Volunteer Award

The Young Volunteer Award celebrates a young person who has demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, leadership and commitment through volunteering. This award recognises young individuals who are making a positive difference and inspiring others through their actions.

Fundraiser of the Year

This award recognises an individual or team that has achieved outstanding success in raising funds for a charitable cause or community project. It celebrates creativity, determination and the ability to generate vital support that helps organisations thrive.

Special Achievement Award

The Special Achievement Award honours a volunteer who has gone above and beyond to make an exceptional contribution. Whether through overcoming challenges, delivering an outstanding project or creating a lasting legacy, this award recognises truly transformative volunteering.

Volunteer Team of the Year

The Volunteer Team of the Year Award celebrates a group of volunteers who have worked together to achieve exceptional results. It recognises teamwork, collaboration and the collective effort that has made a meaningful and lasting difference within the community.

How to get involved

As well as encouraging nominations, we also invite local companies to sponsor an award, take an advert in our program, or reserve a table at the celebratory dinner.
