Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre announces The Harlequin Masquerade Ball
Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre is thrilled to announce its most glamorous fundraising event of the year: The Harlequin Masquerade Ball, taking place on Friday 2 October 2026 at The Vale Golf and Country Club, Hill Furze Road, Bishampton, WR10 2LZ.
This glamorous black-tie event, with masquerade masks optional for those wishing to embrace the evening's elegant theme, promises to be a night to remember. All monies raised will go towards PPVC's vital work supporting people across Pershore and the surrounding villages who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation.
The Evening
Guests are invited to arrive by 7.00pm for a drinks reception with a glass of fizz on arrival before enjoying a delicious three-course dinner from 7.30pm. The night continues with dancing courtesy of The Vale Golf and Country Club’s resident DJ, before carriages depart at midnight.
The evening's programme includes:
• 🕰️ Drinks reception: from 7.00pm
• 🍽️ Dinner: seated for 7.30pm
• 🎭 Dress code: Black tie (masks optional)
• 🚗 Carriages: Midnight
Tickets cost £65 per person, or guests can reserve a table of 12 for £720, saving £5 per person.
All proceeds from the event will help Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre continue to provide essential services that tackle social isolation, including befriending, community transport, lunch clubs, volunteer support and a range of activities that help people to remain connected within their communities.

Charity Auction and Raffle
No masquerade ball would be complete without a little glamour and generosity, so we'll be hosting a charity auction on the night, again with all proceeds helping to fund the charity's ongoing work. An exciting selection of auction lots is already being collated, including a hot air balloon ride generously donated by Virgin, and so Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre is appealing to local businesses and supporters for additional auction lots.
Whether it's an experience, voucher, hospitality package, artwork, luxury hamper or unique gift, every donation will help make the evening even more successful while raising valuable funds for local people who rely on the charity's services.
We're also on the lookout for raffle prizes. If you or your business could donate an item or experience, we'd love to hear from you as every contribution will help us to raise more money for local people who need it most.
